Cart Crashers

Made as an entry to Ludum Dare 51 in 72 hours (with the theme “every 10 seconds”), Cart Crashers is a Movement / Cart-Collection FPS game fashioned after a certain Swedish furniture retailer. As a Cart Retrieval employee, you must manage tasks and keep your stress in check as you collect carts throughout a sprawling parking lot. For this game, the real retail location that my co-developer Charlie Tipping worked at was recreated in loving detail. I worked as the sole programmer on the project and was responsible for all implementation. The game features bunnyhopping, smooth cart collection, and dynamic music.
